The new 5,000 sq. ft. interactive store, designed to complement the international luxury travel operator's online and agent presence in the UK, immerses visitors into the world of Sandals through a range of interactive, educational and sensory experiences.
Previously a dilapidated empty shell, the space now comprises highly sophisticated integrated lighting and AV systems, exquisite joinery, and individually commissioned feature pieces and artwork. Highly energy efficient, the store is equipped with heat recovery air-conditioning systems and LED lighting throughout with fingertip controls for atmospheric mood settings.
Sponsored by ISG, these prestigious awards celebrate excellence in store design and fit out from the past 12 months, showcasing the creativity and innovation that the retail industry is renowned for.
The judges include Clare Askem, Managing Director at Habitat; Susan Creitz-Blood, Head of Retail Design at Westfield; Anthony Wysome, Head of Store Design at Waitrose; and Guy Smith, Head of Store Design at Arcadia.
The winners will be announced at the Hilton, Park Lane on 3 November.
