Connected Places Catapult

To help facilitate 'innovation as a service' for public bodies, business and infrastructure providers, Catapult appointed ODB to design and build their new state of the art training and events space.

Designed with flexibility at its core, this highly adaptable facility comprises of a central auditorium, complete with stage and furniture storage, an open breakout and servery space, a mix of open and enclosed collaboration / meetings rooms, as well as its own dedicated catering facility.

The interconnecting spaces fully open up via the installation of high end acoustic folding partition systems, with the added benefit of having switchable priva lite glass. The colour changing lighting system provides endless personalisation opportunities, while wall & ceiling acoustic solutions ensure that the facility functions to the necessary professional level. Electric curtains, switchable glazing and folding walls all help ensure that this a fully multi-functional quality space.
